Adoption & change management

People finish the job

We advise on, build and implement Copilot solutions. But value only appears when people work differently — so adoption is the capstone of every journey, from advice to working agents.

Our approach

From advice to work habit

Adoption is not a standalone service, but the fourth step of every consultancy journey.

  1. 1

    Advise

Readiness scan, use-case prioritisation and a baseline before you start.

  2. 2

    Build

Bespoke solutions and agents, built with your pilot group.

  3. 3

    Implement

Technical rollout with permissions, labels and governance.

  4. 4

    Embed

Champions, role-based coaching and monthly value measurement.

The audience

One rollout, four routes

Serve only the enthusiasts and you leave three quarters of the organisation behind. We design a dedicated route per persona, based on Microsoft Viva People Science. Need open training? You will find it at Copilotcursus.nl — we build the journey around it.

Multipliers (±4%)

Experiment on their own and pull others along. Give them a stage.

Advocates (±28%)

Fast followers. They need direction and a Multiplier buddy.

Persuadables (±44%)

The movable middle. Adoption is won or lost right here.

Sceptics & change-weary (±24%)

Take them seriously and show proof — not posters.

What we deliver

The building blocks of the journey

Modular: from a single piece of advice to a full year of guidance.

Adoption quick scan

Readiness measured across awareness, motivation, skills, opportunity and perceived value.

Adoption strategy & advice

A concrete plan per persona, department and use case.

Role-specific training

Workshops per role using scenarios from your own work — not a button tour.

Champions programme

Internal front-runners selected, trained and organised in a steady rhythm.

AI Council & governance

A compact steering body that gives direction and accelerates — not a talking shop.

Value measurement & ROI

Baseline, Copilot Dashboard reporting and KPIs per use case.

Our conviction

Adoption is behaviour — and behaviour is built.

Copilot ≠ agents

Agents need a different journey

Copilot adoption is individual behaviour; agent adoption is process transformation. We build agents with the process owners — with a baseline per process and tighter governance.

The six causes of resistance — and what works

  • Job insecurity → have the open conversation: what does and does not change in roles
  • Data concerns → transparent policy on what an agent sees and logs
  • Involved too late → let staff help build from the very first sketch
  • Unclear value → show per role what it delivers — not just for "the organisation"
  • Distrust of AI output → train verification: AI proposes, people decide
  • Change fatigue → phase the pace and celebrate wins small and often

FAQ

Veelgestelde vragen

On adoption and change management within our consultancy.

Why do Copilot rollouts fail?

The pattern is predictable: licences without use cases, usage peaks in week one then fades. Copilot demands new work habits, and those do not change by announcement. Strategic advice, champions and value measurement make the difference.

Staff already use ChatGPT privately — a problem?

Mostly an opportunity: there is energy and curiosity. But "bring your own AI" is also a data risk. Offer a strong, IT-managed alternative — and channel that energy rather than banning it.

How do you handle sceptical colleagues?

Take them seriously. The biggest worries — data security, opaque AI decisions, job loss — are legitimate. Organisations that actively surface concerns build more trust, not less. So our approach always leaves room for the real conversation.

How do you measure whether adoption works?

On three levels: usage (active users), quality (perceived value per role) and business result (KPIs per use case, against the baseline). Usage alone says little — someone can log in daily without feeling any value.

How long does an adoption journey take?

You see first results within weeks; new work habits mature after six to twelve months. We build the journey in phases, with a measurable result every quarter.

Want to know where you stand first?

The quick scan gives an honest picture of your readiness within two weeks — and the three actions with the most impact.
